The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) stated in a post on X that the peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar will continue till the resignation of Union education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of CJP, wrote on his official X handle that the party will neither let the hunger strike of Sonam Wangchuk nor the brutal assault on student protesters go to vain.
However, Wangchuk, who is on the 25th day of his hunger strike, has urged the students to halt the strike if the government assures them that no punitive action will be taken against student protesters.
Activist and educator Sonam Wangchuk has written a letter to Union Ministers J P Nadda and Jitendra Singh stating his demands for ending the hunger strike that is on its 25th day on Wednesday.
Wangchuk stated that there should be no legal action taken against the protesters for participating in the 'Chalo Sansad' March on July 20. Wangchuk penned that he would end his fast if he is given such an assurance by the India government. The letter has been posted to the official X account of Wangchuk.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi hit out at India government over the alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations such as the NEET-UG and the brutal crackdown of police on the 'Chalo Sansad' march organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on July 20.
The remarks came during a press conference held by Gandhi at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, a day after the Parliament march undertaken by Congress protesting against the alleged examination irregularities.

Gandhi stated that India's education system is rigged and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must apologise to students for what has been done. The leader, extending support to all the demands put forward by the students, further demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
During his briefing, Gandhi stated that there has been 152 paper leaks in the last ten years that affected 7.5 crore students but that there were zero convictions in these instances.
In response, Union minister J P Nadda on Wednesday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of playing politics over the NEET paper leak and urged the Opposition to allow an "intensive discussion" on the issue in Parliament to find a "permanent solution" to the problem, instead of indulging in a blame game.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here, Nadda said the BJP-NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership is a "responsible and responsive government" and it is very serious on this issue.

He said the government is ready for an intensive debate on the floor of Parliament on the issue of paper leak.The issue of paper leak is a matter of investigation and for this the government will put forth the answers on every point before the people, Nadda said.
The senior BJP leaders listed cases of paper leaks in the states ruled by the Congress and its allies and asked Gandhi why he did not mention them when he was speaking about such cases in the country.
"I would like to ask leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi why are you so selective....This clearly shows your objective is not students' interest. You are interested in taking political mileage and doing politics on students' demands. This is unfortunate," he said.
Fresh groups of protesters from across the country poured into the protest site on Wednesday, many after overnight journeys by bus and train.
Two days after the 'Chalo Sansad' march, the sit-in continued to draw new participants, many walking into the protest site with backpacks and rolled-up banners after travelling through the night. Volunteers directed them towards seating areas and distributed drinking water and food packets as more groups joined the gathering.
By evening, there was little to no empty space around and outside the main protest area as fresh arrivals continued to join those already gathered.
